Thank you so much for enlightening my knowledge of the jewelry biz! You were very helpful, courteous, extremely professional. I hope to continue consulting with you in the future.
Sam is very knowledgable and responded quickly and professionally and I felt very comfortable working with him. He took time to exam my jewelry and gave me valuable and good advise, you won’t be disappointed.
Thank you so much for your timely response to my inquiry. Your professionalism and fairness were exemplary, and I have already recommended you to three friends. I will certainly call you again.
Sam..thanks so much for the help and advice on that Jade piece we spoke of. I will let you know what I find out. Nice guy A+++
THIS GUY IS AWESOME HONEST AND RELIABLE. PAYS THE BEST TOP PRICES FOR GOLD EVEN SHOWS YOU THE SCALE I WILL USE HIM FOR ALL MY NEEDS IN THE FUTURE. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY OTHERS HE DOES WHAT HE SAYS……… THANKS SAM
Extremely fast service, honest, and professional! Will use again and again! He is completely legit. I recommend him to anyone.
Excellent experience! Sam was friendly, honest, kept his word and does no-nonsense business. I was very pleased and will do business with Sam again.
I sold a couple of things that were scrap gold to Sam. He offers the best price around for gold (and trust me I called alot of places). He was prompt when he said he would be at my home. I would definetly reccomend him. I was very comfortable with him in my house.
I have transacted with Sam numerous times and the reason I keep going back to him is because he is the needle in the haystack. There are so many dishonest buyers out there just looking to short-change you and after a few minutes of talking with him you will feel comfortable and he will stay true to his word. You will feel very comfortable and secure in your transaction. He’s happy to answer any questions you might have and more than willing to take the time to educate you. If you’re looking for straight-forward answers, honesty and want the best price for your jewelry then Sam is the man you want to do business with. Thanks Sam! -Guy
Oh my God! I cannot extole the virtues of Sam..Never met him before, found him in a local flyer..so I was skeptical..but I took my treasures to him and will NEVER look back. I left very satisfied..this man is the most honest, down to earth, educated Gemologist I’ve met in years. You won’t go wrong here. I’m tellin’ ya…he knows by eye…if it’s worth something…he will tell you..if it’s not, he will tell you that too! I have Sam to thank for the words SLAG and CULLIN…he ROCKS…don’t overlook your possible pathway to riches..no one else would have done for me what Sam did…And I’m thankful to have met him, his expertise is apparent from the minute you meet him…go here…don’t look back!
SAM ROCKS!
Sam:
Can you tell me what the meaning is of “100 Mills” stamped on a gold bar? Is this the millesimal fineness of the gold or does it have an association with the weight measure “gram” example “milligram” which is 1/10 of a gram? I have asked several people what percentage of an ounce of gold is 100 Mills but nobody ever gives me a straight answer. In Canada our gold coins are simply stamped what percentage of an ounce they are.But 100 Mills really makes no sense.
Thanks if you can answer.
Really nice guy! I called to ask about some coin values as I had no idea and he was able to tell me on the phone by asking certain questions the value of the coins. I didn’t even have to get in my car to go down and find out they were only worth 10-20 bucks each. That is much appreciated lol
Very professional and honest. Much appreciated. If I come across any other stuff like gold, jewelry besides my coin collection I will definitely be contacting Sam. Thank you Sam!
Does the age of a Krugerrand increase its value. ie. If I have a 1978 Krugerrand and a 2004 one, is there a difference in their value?
Thanks
Alan
I saw your ad on the flyer and I though you may like to know that there’s a new HOT directory in the area where you can post your ad or classified for FREE, this website got great partners like the Big Screen on Wiregrass mall, The LoLa’s news paper and the Chamber of Commerce… I think it’s a great place to advertise and it’s worth to check out! go to http://www.eZearch.com
Best regards,
First of all don’t use this Guy, my Mother call him 3 times to come look a ring she had we made 2 appoitments with Sam and both times he did not show up or even call us to say he wasn’t going to be there, we waited all day and finally gave up. I think this Guy Sam and this company is very unprofessional and I myself would never recomend them to anyone.

Hello. What do you know about Geodes? Found a couple nice chunks going through my late dad’ stuff. One is a hefty chunk of amythyst, nice blue color, the other is a good sized half round half-bowl of quartz. Any ideas? I put them on craigslist but didn’t get any bites.
Thanks,
Rick

Can you tell me anything about a silver peace dollar coin? I have one that is in very good condition. I know for sure that it is a commemorative peace coin from 1922. Can you give me some kind of info about this coin? Whats the value of this coin?
I’m selling a 1959 20 pesos Mexican centenario. 15 grams of pure gold. How much can I get for it?
1 grain is equal to the weight of a single grain of wheat from the center of the head of wheat at harvest.
A dollar is a unit of weight measurement. It is more correct to say (ask) for a dollar silver not a silver dollar. The weight of one dollar silver was/is 475 and 4/16 grains of standard silver.
I have sold gold to Sam several different times, and he is “THE BEST”. Previous to having discovered Sam, I dealt with a few other gold buyers and they did not pay me nearly as much as he did. Sam has always kept his appointments with me and has always been punctual. You will not find a more honest person. I weighed my gold on my gram scale, be-
fore I sold it to Sam and our weights were identical ( 58.4 grams). He passed the test with flying colors and has gained my utmost respect.
Is it possible to make your own pan for panning gold or do you have to buy one (and where) in the Rumford area?
I’m sitting in a bush pub in Rokewood, Victoria, Australia where I can see a photo of a gold nugget called “The Orange Roughy” found just across the creek in 1987. I’ll tell you now that nature is a funny thing because that “Washington Nugget” is EXACTLY the same as the one sold in USA. A remarkable coincidence? I don’t think so. Smells like rotten fish to me. Rotten orange roughy perhaps?
Cheers from the Aussie bush,
Kezza
how do i find a place to pan for gold that is not already a claim I searched for places in ga. n.c. nat. forest and i don’t understand where i can go unless i join a club or go to a commerical place are there any places let i can go to pan on my own explore and make my own claim? thank you ron
Are you buying Tanzanite?
When I was in my teens we had a ranch in the Colorado High Country.
That was in the 1950’s. The ranch was sold,,, however, I found gold there and at that time it was against the law to own it. I used to fill my mothers empty peanut butter jars up with the nuggets..yes..big nuggets of gold and she took them to Denver and had them assayed and blackmarket sold them, at $32.00 an ounce.
I never disclosed where I found it and it has never been found by anyone. Being as the ranch is owned by someone else and they do not know they are sitting on billions of dollars..is there any safe way to cash in on this knowledge I have. The gold nuggets are so large, mining is not even needed.
There is a small per cent of silver mixed with it as well.
I fear just telling them and getting a bullet in my head. ![]()
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jann
Question: I have a $20 gold rimmed with a silver center coin Estados Unidos Mexicanos (A2000) (Eagle with snake in mouth and other images)
Not familiar with the male’s engraved image.
Can you tell me what it is worth in America?
Thank you.
I am trying to research which type of gold to invest in. I think I understand the different reasons for investors but I would like to study what Gold and coins have actually done. I can go to many different sites to find historical gold prices. (Spot) Where can I go to research what some of the more popular numismatic coins have done, such as the $20 St.Gaudens or Double Eagle over the last ten to twenty years or so? I have asked several brokers for this information but they really hedge on giving it out. I just hear how much coins outgrow bullion. Do they or is it just the higher commission that makes the difference to them?
Hi Sam, I called your phone number provided and it had a full in box so I couldn’t leave a message.
I have 2 Franck Muller watches and can’t find anyone who can tell me what they are worth.
Are you able to do that?
Please email me at cyndibrown0901@gmail.com
Thank you,
Cynthia
What is the difference in the gold that would be in aclass ring made in 1937 versus a class ring made in 2011? I was told that the gold from the 1937 ring could make 3 rings by todays standards. Thanks for your help.
