Treasure Hunting Clubs and Organizations
One way to learn about treasure hunting worldwide as well as in or near your home town is to contact a treasure hunting organization in the area you are interested in.
Treasure hunting includes gold mining, prospecting, and panning; metal detecting; locating diamonds and other gems; pirate treasure; and a whole lot more. In this post I’m going to list some of the websites which offer state-by-state lists of clubs as well as other resources.
MiningGold.com offers a huge free online directory of gold prospecting clubs and organizations throughout the United States and around the world.
Another worldwide directory of gold panning, mining, and prospecting clubs can be found at ProspectingChannel.com.
You’ll find a list of Metal Detecting Clubs in California, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, and Washington at Goldbummin.com.
The Prospecting and Mining Journal offers a wealth of mining agencies and resources, associations, organizations, and clubs, organized by state.
While Kellyco sells metal detectors, they have a detailed list of treasure hunting clubs, organized by state.
Happy Treasure Hunting!
